"The Science and Ethics of Embryonic Stem Cell Research"

Come hear Dr. Maureen Condic, Associate Professor of Neurobiology and Anatomy at the University of Utah School of Medicine, explain the essential scientific and ethical issues of stem cell research. The lecture will take place on Tuesday, January 31 at 7:30 p.m. in the Haid Theatre at Belmont Abbey College and admission is free.

Dr. Condic is an award-winning researcher at the forefront of today’s scientific research and ethical debate regarding stem cells. She researches the development and regeneration of the nervous system, embryonic development, and human stem cell potency and regeneration.
