Gifts of Stock

For a gift of stock, you receive a charitable tax deduction for the fair market value of the stocks or securities on the day they were transferred. 

To send a stock transfer to Belmont Abbey College, there are three steps:
1. Call Karen Kight at (704) 655-7688  (Wells Fargo Advisors, LLC) to obtain the account and DTC numbers.
2. Please give this information to your broker.
3. Please call Teresa Weyeneth in the Belmont Abbey College Gifts Office,  704-825-6229, to alert our staff that you are sending a gift.  Please let her know what you would like your gift applied to.

Wiring Funds

To Wire Funds to Belmont Abbey College Checking Account, there are two steps:
1. Please call Teresa Weyeneth in the Belmont Abbey College Gifts Office at 704-825-6229 to obtain the account name and the ABA and account numbers and to alert her that you are sending a gift.  Please let her know what you would like your gift applied to.
2. Then, with the information she gives you, wire your gift.
